The equipment I use for your dogs and cats
I use Hydrotherapy and Physiotherapy for your dogs and cats, but that’s not all!
During your dog’s or cat’s physiotherapy session, I use a variety of equipment depending on your pet’s specific needs. Below, you’ll find a non-exhaustive list of the equipment I use to support your dogs and cats in their rehabilitation.
My hands

Although the clinic is equipped with many tools, my hands are essential in my physiotherapy practice: they allow me to palpate, guide, mobilize, and assist your dog with precision. No device can ever replace my hands.
The hydrotherapy treadmill

The underwater treadmill allows your dog to walk while being immersed in water. With the resistance of the water and the buoyancy, it enables your dog to move with less strain on their joints and muscles.
The therapeutic laser
Therapeutic laser delivers a concentrated light to the targeted area, which is absorbed by the cells to enhance their activity. It helps reduce inflammation and stimulates the repair of damaged tissues by increasing blood and lymphatic circulation. It also helps relieve pain by partially blocking pain signals sent to the brain. Its use is completely painless.
The mobility equipment

Movement and muscle strengthening are essential in rehabilitation. That’s why I also use exercise equipment such as balance cushions, a step, or ground poles, for example. These tools help improve your dog’s coordination, proprioception, muscle tone, and joint mobility. I can be quite creative with the equipment I use, so don’t be surprised!
